Shin gasped, putting a hand over his chest, "How could you Hinata, and here I thought we had struck up an extraordinary friendship."
"I just met you."
"Yet you were the one to approach me and offer yourself like lamb to the slaughter." Shin said with a brow raised.
"Point taken." Shoyo laughed, "Then lead the way."
Shin doesn't know if he should be happy that Hinata trusts him enough or if he should be worried that Hinata trusts him already, so he just laughed along.

The words were murmured, low and firm, like a truth Peter had long since accepted. He swallowed hard, his throat raw, and let out a hollow hum. No kidding.
Peter blinked sluggishly, his vision blurred. His body felt leaden, each movement dragging like he was wading through wet cement. He lifted his head, gaze finally settling on the figure beside him. The man’s face swam into focus—strong jawline, tousled black hair, tan skin. The sleek blue and black suit was unmistakable. Nightwing. He should have felt some sense of familiarity. Recognition. But all he felt was the ache. A tremor of something unspoken clawed at his chest.
And then the world cracked.
“Dad?”

Summary
There's a kid roaming around Gotham who looks eerily similar to one of their own. He has his nose, his smile, and his annoying ability of acrobatically removing himself from awkward situations.
So if the kid really is Dick's son, it only makes sense to bring him in, right? Peter's probably homeless, weirdly dusty, and yet strangely steadfast in his lie that his "guardian" is at home just asleep.
"He's just super tired from the trip. Passed out as soon as we got here actually. But he's at home waiting for me."
That has to be a lie. Right?

Summary
Toji loves Satoru the only way he knows how to.
He has never been a kind man, much less a gentle one. He is broken bones and spilled blood, shadows wrapped into the mountainous figure of what might be a man or what might be a monster, what was saved that one summer day or what should've been left to rot. Sometimes he thinks that the difference is too infinitesimal to even matter, but it does.
It does.
Toji is not a kind or gentle man but he is a loyal one and in Gojo Satoru’s eyes (all six of them!), that is all that matters.
