Summary
Tristan squares his shoulders, meeting Galahad’s eye with steely candour. “Arthur ordered me not to fuck you,” he reveals.
Galahad stills. He stops pulling against Tristan’s grip. “That’s— What?”
Tristan can only shrug wryly. It’s somewhat reassuring, to see his own frustration reflected back at him. “No secrets between knights.”

Summary
Jayce rubs his temples, glancing between the different diagrams of the anomaly. “Right, just to clarify: you’re saying that a version of me from the future appeared, destroyed our lab, tried to kill you and then demanded you blow up the Hexgates. And you actually want to do it. Am I missing anything?”
Viktor hesitates, before throwing caution to the wind. Unreserved honesty will prevent any miscommunication later. “You also kissed me.”
Jayce’s head whips around. “I— What?”
“You - he - kissed me. And…” Viktor trails off, gesturing vaguely - uncertain of how much he should reveal. He’s always seen sex rather candidly, never understanding Piltover’s insistence on maintaining taboo; but out of consideration for Jayce, it seems polite to keep the details to himself.
His hand motion must convey more than enough. Jayce flushes from the crown of his head to his Adam’s apple, and buries his face in his hands.

Summary
Akechi knows that he’s not supposed to be able to hear Morgana. Maintaining the illusion of ignorance is vital if he wants to gain Akira’s trust and guarantee his death. It’s just a shame that Morgana insists on testing his patience during every interaction. The amount of insults he’s had to endure with a straight face is ridiculous. Still, he tells himself that he just has to curb his indignation until November. Then his plan will culminate in the assassination of the Phantom Thieves’ leader. With Akira gone, Shido will win the election - and Akechi’s moment for revenge will arrive.
He’s so close to victory that he can taste it in the back of his throat. If the biggest obstacle to his success is a talking cat, then he’s gotten pretty lucky.
Unfortunately, he underestimates just how much of a roadblock Akira himself will turn out to be.

Summary
Akechi finds a cardboard box in Akira’s bedroom, filled to the brim with black leather gloves. They sit in neat rows, folded over each other like nesting animals. All the same, all— All right-handed. There are no matching pairs; only the same garment, repeated ad infinitum.
Akechi picks one up, hands shaking. He already knows how familiar the glove is going to feel.
It’s his. They all are.

Summary
Akira has spent so long trying to rationalise Akechi’s plans - analysing his comments in combat, studying his profile at the Jazz Jin, watching him placidly sip coffee in Leblanc - that he’s almost forgotten what it’s like to be afraid of him. He’d felt a flicker of horror when Futaba played him the recording of Akechi arranging his murder, sure. But there was always a sense that they were missing a piece of the puzzle… That Akechi couldn’t be doing this of his own free will.
Akira had forgotten how it felt to fear him. He remembers now. Staring up at the blank, deadened expression on Akechi’s face, he feels terror slice through him like a knife, flaying him down to the bone. “Akechi.” He whispers, voice scratchy and faint.
Akechi raises his gun, dragging it across Akira’s cheek in a sick parody of a caress. “Akira.” He murmurs, eyes glinting with undisguised anticipation.
On November 20th, the cops inject Akira with a stronger sedative. Things spiral from there.
