Alex slumps into the chair next to June and buries his face in his hands, groaning into them. He hears June laugh next to him.
“Something wrong Little Bit?”
Alex groans again and then sits up and leans back in the chair. “I overslept, and haven’t had a single drop of caffeine yet this morning. I don’t know how I’m even functioning right now.”
June chuckles and nudges his arm as she reaches over and grabs something hidden behind the computer. Alex inhales deeply as the smell of coffee and cinnamon fills the air. He makes grabby hand motions and as soon as the coffee is within reach grabs it with a quick thank you and takes a massive slurp of the liquid. He lets out a big sigh before speaking to his sister again.
“How did you know?”
June shrugs as she responds. “I always know you’re in need of coffee. However this time it was not me who fed your caffeine addiction, but your best bud Dr Fox.”
Alex scoffs and shakes his head, taking another swig of coffee.
