Pomni hit the ground hard enough to knock the wind out of her. She gasped for air, coughing a few times, the cold of the ground helping to orient her. There were spots in her vision and she winced at the sharp throb in her skull.
Finally, her lungs filled with air and her eyes were able to open and she saw…what the hell was she looking at? Pomni was on the ground, on her back, and in front of her was some kind of…pod? Chamber? The front door had unlatched and was currently wide open, the clamps that had previously kept her secured in place open and empty, a headset melded to the headrest. A headset that was distinctly empty…because her head was attached to her body…on the ground— holy shit is she real?!

Caine sighed, looking unblinkingly into her eyes. “Well, to be human. You seem to have a solid grasp on it. What do you say?”
He extended a gloved hand out to her.
For a moment, Zooble observed the offer with awe, before placing a trembling hand in his. Even through the fabric, she could tell it was ice-cold.
“Deal” she said.

I know, terrible.) and I was wonder on whether I should've anniversary-ified it on episode 6 release, buuuuuuuut, I couldn't come up with cool ideas for a sequel and I don't want to make edits to the original because I decided that any cringe shit I make is a part of my identity, so the og fic is not being overwritten and will still be acessible. to wit, this isn't a remaster or something like that. it's more, "hey, this ol' fanfic could sprout an entire AU. I'm not gonna make it, because that would be tough, but what if I take what we saw from ep6 and 7 and sprout a bigger AU?" *insert evil laugh*
since it is almost entirely made of {SPLOIERS}, I think only teens and up/anyone who's already understands or knows about suicide should read this. seriously, this isn't actually for kids.

When confusion with emotions occur Jax is useless in improving the situation. Should he mad at himself, her or Caine. That is a question he struggles to answer as the one person he cares about turns away from him.

Pomni wants to finish a conversation that was rudely interrupted and so tries to talk to Jax during an adventure. He won't drop his act Infront of Ragatha, even in a serious situation such as this, and instead chooses to fit perfectly into the role Caine has given him for the adventure, an overly clingy 'husband' shopping with his 'wife'. The only problem is that his 'wife' is the one he cares for the least, Ragatha.
