Ianira Annunzaita and friends are cadets at the Galaxy Garrison. However, their Earth-bound destiny takes a sharp turn when Shiro, a pilot who was believed to be dead, crashes back on earth. The five, along with Keith, find the Blue Lion of Voltron, shoot out of the solar system, and are wormholed out into the beyond. Now, they are thrown into an intergalactic war with a 10,000 year old opponent who controls 1/3 of the known universe - Zarkon. Ianira is the 14th wheel, not a Paladin, but also not an Altean, so she is stuck on the sidelines. However, she is far more special than the others realize. She knows what her and their paths are, and what is coming. As they battle the Galra Empire, making new friends and enemies, and reuiniting with old friends - whom none of the others have met before. Follow Ianira through the first season of Voltron: Legendary Defender, and how she impacts the story - and refrains from doing so too early.
Each episode is a few chapters, some have split timelines, making it hard to actually fill the action. I will do my best. Credit for story & most characters go to Dreamworks. Ianira is mine, as are a few others. Feel free to correct translations. Rewritten as it goes. First Book of 8

OC is badass; but struggles with PTSD; how do i put all the warnings on here idk; Everyone loves everyone and the only hate we have is for lotoilet sorry not sorry; its not even hate; extreme distaste; might seem a bit anti-allura but she's my queen she just needs some sense; OC mainly uses female pronouns but always they/them, but they forgot their gender? hard to explain and i suck at summaries; is this even a good summary-no.
Basically: Allura and Coran aren't the only ones who exit a cryopod, and Shiro isn't the only one who has PTSD. ANGST. Trigger warnings for all who have anxiety/depression.
