Earth was falling, everyone knew that the moment the sun was eclipsed and nations began to fall one by one to Cyn’s murderous pets. Every tool and trick in humanity’s arsenal has failed to stem the tide, super weapons rendered null in the face of the Absolute Solver. Desperation led to the creation of long begotten war machines, a last ditch effort to stave off oblivion. Ethics discarded in favor of self preservation, these horrific machines were assembled by the thousands.
Amongst these man made horrors, these very affronts to God, there was one machine forged with a singular purpose, entrusted with the task of avenging humanity and ending the nightmare that was the Absolute Solver.
Thus, with humanity’s last dying breath, this Supreme Machine was unleashed upon the world.
We could only pray for God’s forgiveness in that same, feeble breath.

Summary
For years, legends have swirled around the small village of Kobberfjord about the vaesen – the various magical folk who are said to have haunted the woods, fjords, lakes and mountains of Norway. But for Unni (Uzi) Doorman – and many other residents of Kobberfjord – that’s all that they ever were; merely legends. However, after a series of mysterious disappearances from Kobberfjord in recent months, rumors have once again begun to circulate around town about the hostile creatures of old, with some citizens starting to suspect the disappearances may have more supernatural explanations as opposed to natural ones.
Frustrated by how anyone would believe such ridiculous tales, Unni decides to launch her own investigation, and attempts to track down those responsible for the missing citizens. During the war with the Illuminate, Copper 9 was a world near the border of Illuminate territory and was used to study their technology. Built up with a large drone force to help with the construction of the world infrastructure, several of these drones were also used to test out Illuminate weapons and dark fluids.
However, as the war progressed, the Illuminate attacked Copper 9, resulting in massive levels of damage to the planet itself. And the human population was forced to flee, leaving behind the drones on the now toxic and broken planet.
Many years later, after the war, Super Earth's eyes are back on Copper 9, and several Helldivers are sent to Copper 9.
Yet they are not alone... And discover a hidden history of humanity.

In the silent depths of Copper 9, six battered and malfunctioning cores, having recently attained individuality, managed to escape their confines due to large tremors and distortions of gravity. Once under the command of their powerful creator, the Absolute Solver — they were one of the first teams of Disassembly Drones that were sent to infiltrate Copper 9's Cabin Fever Labs but were unable to achieve their mission as they had been confined for years by a crazed Worker Drone that guarded its abandoned halls.
Now, stripped of their sleek bipedal forms as they are unable to self-repair and left as little more than cores with spidery appendages, they were bound by a singular purpose: to locate their creator.

A narrative reimagining of the Murder Drones web series by Liam Vickers and Glitch productions.
This is a creative take on the beloved original work, it is not meant to improve, replace or otherwise invalidate the series as it stands today, it is written out of love for the story and characters.
The goal is to stay as true to the original vision as possible, while adding a Human protagonist, new story elements and character moments in order to expand the existing story into a narrative format.
Then launching well past it into an original sequel story based on the outcome of events from the canon series pilot-episode 8 in this Alternative Universe.

August 31, 2552. That was the day I first woke up in the Halo universe, clad in B-312's Mark V[B] Mjolnir, with a Ghost from the Destiny video games floating close by.
September 1, 2560. That was the day my ship's prototype Slipspace drive malfunctioned, leaving me stranded without FTL at the edge of the Copper system from the Murder Drones web series.
Thank God and the Traveler that I ended up in one of the better Murder Drone Timelines!
