Hyperlaser stopped his attempts and didn't hesitate to snap back. "So sorry, I happen to be incapable of seeing."
Subspace was sighing- he was annoyed by the comment. Perhaps if it was any different, Hyperlaser would care, but he didn't.
The item was taken from his hands. "Hold still." The infuriating man ordered, voice sharp. Hyperlaser just snorted and let him put the helmet on over his head.

Their chest heaved, fury struggling, and they tried to pry their hands out from his grasp.
It only made them more lost.

Summary
The room had green walls. It was a soft, dull sort of green- sage green, 1x1x1x1 believed, is what people called it. The floor was a darkened wood but had a soft brown carpet stretching across the sitting area. It matched the brown armchair, and the equally brown couch, but lacked the plaid patterns both pieces had.
In the armchair, a woman sat. She had yellow skin and white-dyed hair. It was always up in a bun with a blue fox-shaped pin holding back her bangs. When they had asked her about the pin, she had mentioned that she had a husband and daughter who conspired to get it for her. (That conversation had also been the one to bring up 1x1x1x1's own parents.)
It was mercy that she had not asked then.

Summary
A great source of despair draws Nightmare to an abandoned AU. There he finds an unfinished Sans with no name, no companions, no purpose, no world, and a soul. Nightmare gives him the option to get out of his abandoned, empty world. He accepts the offer but refuses to destroy anything or hurt people. Instead he finds another purpose. In return the Bad Sanses give him a home, companions, a life, and a name. They call him Ink.
Or: Before he can destroy his soul and enter the Doodle Sphere, Ink is recruited by Nightmare. He accepts his role as best he can, even if he sometimes feels like he is meant for something more.
