Lunar had been one of the only ones to really see Sun for the troubled soul he was, and see the different ways he was hurting before the end. That's why, when his brothers walked in the room and promised to bring him back, Lunar grew angry. Because despite everything that had happened, nothing had changed.
Moon looked across the sea to the setting sun in his mind, wishing and hoping that he made the right choice, for Sun's sake. So imagine his surprise when his replacement shows up, introduces himself as Nexus, and then said that Sun was dead. Simple enough...However, the company is shady at best and the animatronics are much more sentient than you ever could have imagined.
