“Abs, really that is not safe” He tried again.
Abaddon turned his head towards them to retort and didn’t realize he was slightly off target. The demon physically cleared the hallway’s doorway but one of the tricycle’s back wheels clipped the wooden frame and the bike jerked to a stop, and with how fast Abaddon had been going. The boy flew over the handlebars and went face first into the carpet, skidding to a stop second later. Unmoving.

He really did need to figure out how to clean Jessica’s newest room, and if he waited too long to wipe down the bleeding mirror in the lobby, the blood would get on the floor and Nathan still hadn’t figured out the correct mixture of cleaning products to get blood out wood.

He won’t, Robert knows that's not why he's here. If that were the case he would’ve been woken up much earlier. If this conversation was right after he got captured he would definitely be in a lot more pain right now.
The man laughed a bit again, “Well fine, so perceptive, you. I am here to offer you the opportunity of a lifetime.”
Robert stayed silent and neutral, but the man didn’t mind, "Because the Mecha Man has been around for generations without fail in the same impressive suit, we decided that your talents would be wasted in prison, and instead of letting your family's techniques go to waste, you could be rehabilitated.”
He almost sorted, “Rehabilitated?”
Toxin or whatever hummed, “Instead of multiple life sentences, you could use your skills for helping instead of hurting. Isn’t that fun?” He paused, “and eventually, if you’re good we could get you back in your suit again.”

Summary
After a series of unfortunate events leaves Abaddon mercilessly bound to a human vessel and barred from returning home, he resolves to wait at the site of his greatest failure for Hell to come and retrieve him, even if that means waiting for the rest of eternity. And he sticks to that resolve, he really does. Until one day a man welcomes him into his hotel, and Abaddon learns that his longing for home does not have to stop him from finding a new one.
