Robin is lucky. She is standing in the middle of the brand new mall, about to start her summer job, and she is repeatedly trying to remind herself that she is lucky. She's lucky she found a summer job at all, she's lucky she got one in the new mall, with air conditioning, and she's lucky she didn't have to start until school was over.
But she is in a ridiculous uniform, staring at Steve Harrington in a matching ascot and sailor's hat, and can't quite convince herself that it's luck. Maybe it’s karma. It definitely is for him. But she doesn't know what she did to deserve this. Maybe it was for something in a previous life.
