Summary
What was the importance of a soulmate, to someone without a soul? If Dean swore this version of Sam was not his brother, despite all the evidence, then why continue to act like he was?
“You don’t have to protect me anymore.” Sam said, matter of fact.
Broad shoulders went still, Dean’s back rigid and stiff. “Yes I do.”
__
Tucked away in the bathroom that morning, Sam resolved he still couldn’t fully recognize himself. He practiced a smile in the mirror, squinted his eyes and scrunched his nose, the way he naturally used to.
With everything stripped away, no sense of self, Sam realized that there was nothing else left inside.
__
TLDR; Sam sees the world a little differently without a soul.

Summary
“He heard the devil’s call, begging for more sin. He heard the angel’s cry of anger at his faults, the demand of repentance. The only way to pay for flaws as fatal as Sam’s was in blood.”
Alone in a motel room Sam can’t escape his thoughts so he turns to the one thing that can still bring him comfort, a blade.
TW for self harm; please take care of yourself!

Sam has no idea how long he can keep up the lie—only that if he fails, the world ends.

Summary
Chuck wrote an ending where the Winchesters broke apart—Sam hollow, Dean dead, Castiel erased, the family scattered. This isn’t that story.
Aurora—the Source of Creation, forgotten and burning with light—finds Sam on the edge of ruin. Together they rip Chuck’s script to shreds, rewriting prophecy and remaking power. With Dean and Castiel finally together, Rowena carving out her empire, and a new Winchester legacy rising, the gang isn’t playing by Heaven’s rules anymore.
This is a fix-it for all of them. And this time, Sam wins.

Summary
After everything with Jessica, Sam’s not ready to let anyone in—not really. Dean says he’s just looking for a good time.
But then she walks into the bar: all pink lace and black boots, too pretty to be real, too dangerous to ignore.
Sam feels it the moment her eyes meet his. Dean sees it too, and that’s the problem.
She flirts like it’s a game, touches like she’s tasting, and leaves before the morning light.
Neither of them meant to want her.
Now neither of them can stop.

Summary
She stares as he pulls off his own shirt, thick muscle and flesh covered only by a pair of blue shorts. He slides in at the other end, avoids crushing her feet; he shifts until the tap stops pressing into his back. They’re crushed together in the tub, limbs tangled, so much flesh there’s barely enough room for water.
The light from the setting sun is dim in the room, sailing through the small rectangular window above the toilet. It slowly makes its retreat into night, leaving them in the tub, dark and together.
“Sam?” he asks, gripping her calf, watching her shift in the water, uncomfortable. She moves too quickly, sloshes the water over the side of the tub.
“Shhh,” she says, sliding down until her head disappears under the water. Her body slips under the water, the swell of her ass brushes against his legs. She stretches, her gangly limbs falling across him, criss crossing, trapping him.
When his hand slides to her thigh, she breaks the surface, sucking in air, falling away from him.

Though, not everyone adjusted to this new reality as quickly as Samantha had.
And it broke her heart into a thousand little pieces.
