I struggled with the details of the plot so much TvT I really wanted the reader to be Amity but I also wanted Christina and Will to be part of it, so I'm making it not canon-adherering, sorry! I hope that isn't too horrible... Basically the only difference is that Christina goes to Amity at the beginning of Insurgent, and Will is alive. I know this ruins a big part of Tris' character development and her and Christina's relationship but it's only a oneshot anyway.
Imagine that when Tris and Tobias, Caleb, Christina, Will, and Peter hide out in Amity, it's Christmas, and they throw a holiday party among themselves to up the morale of the group. So Christina and Will are being all cute, Tris and Tobias are chatting, and Caleb is talking up some girl he met in Amity who's a Candor transfer. Reader is that girl's friend, from Erudite, and Tris is totally a fan of her, so you came along. Peter comes by, and asks said prompt question.

The words hit Mike like a wall. He sucked in a breath too fast, coughing as the smoke caught in his throat. He bent forward, hand over his mouth, sputtering.
“Shit,” he muttered, his voice coming out low and rough as he wiped his mouth with the back of his hand.
He looked up slowly, and the boy standing in front of him was a version of Will that Mike had not yet gotten used to.
Jesus, when did he start smoking? It felt like a lifetime ago. As he thought about it further, a small realization hit him.
He started smoking the night that Will left for California.
Or
Will moves back from California, and when he and Mike end up living together, they realize how much they’ve both changed, and must figure out how to navigate the tension, awkwardness, and unspoken feelings between them.

The Upper district prided itself on its Hero Committee; All the top heroes, working in tandem with the Committee leaders organizing all their patrols.
But that same committee that advertised their heroes as idols who could protect citizens and inspire the community to help and move forward with the Committee could care less about the grand majority of their great city- specifically all the Lower district’s residents.
Not everybody in Dogwarts had powers, but those who did were often recruited into the Hero Committee, where the officials helped to push those people to the edges of their abilities to protect the Upper district (And supposedly the Lower District, too) and those who kept silent about their powers… they had to push it down around the officials, as any unidentified civilian with powers was known as a threat.
And most of those threats turned to villainy after even one bad encounter with the Committee officials, though some stayed civil for longer than most.

She’s met with an old computer with an absurdly colorful screen.
