Seokjin blinked. “What?”
He fought off a smirk. “You heard me.”

Yoongi wishes he could kick himself in the butt. Or that Jungkook would, because that man holding Hobi tight has to be Jeon Jungkook. He looks like he could yeet Yoongi to the Moon actually.
Yoongi tears his eyes from one groom - husband - to another and gulps. Hoseok is still frowning. That means Hoseok knows. Well, of course, he does, he isn't stupid. Yoongi opens his mouth again, just to get interrupted one more time. Luckily, because he has absolutely no idea what to say.
"Don't be stupid JK, it's for me!" exclaims the fifth man as he makes his way towards Yoongi, who is in one word: confused. "Yoongi-yah, you shouldn't," says the man - Kim Seokjin, Yoongi remembers that name very well - as he puts his arm around Yoongi's shoulders.Or: Yoongi is terrified of living for others, and Seokjin can't live for himself. There is a bit of travelling and staying, both for things and people, and a lot of dumb coincidences.

Guess who was supposed to do homework and instead bulldozed my way through this story? That's right, yours truly. Actually, bulldozed may be a horrible description. More like absorbed? Or adored?
If we ignore the wonderful and slow but satisfying K/S, I'd still rec this fic purely on the plot. And yes, the actual plot. It was pretty fascinating (ha!) to see these creepy plants and the mystery of a planet they were on. I was blown away (ha! sorry) by the layers of romance, adventure, and action. The TOS references brought on this feeling of bittersweetness for this universe's Kirk. How sad to see the past and future of a world that could never be, but sweet to see the flower of a budding relationship. This plotline was resolved in a good way that made me a little upset, but it ultimately made sense and led to some excellent developments.
I loved Longclaw (an original character)! She was awesome and a perfect character here. Characterization of Kirk and Spock was also pretty great. The author had a magnificent grasp on each of their characters. The impact of Vulcan and Amanda is clear on Spock, and I couldn't help but feel for him. His development into a balanced individual (much faster than Spock Prime) was a pleasure to watch. This whole story was a pleasure to read. Fantastic! So much detail and I am here for it!!
