If not as family to them, then as Lord Raymar Royce.” Her words were final, and she knew by the stubborn frown the boy wore, and by the stubborn narrowing of his eyes that the boy would listen to her.
“Say it.” She demanded, raising her eyebrows and demanding it with words and a look as the boy grumbled and scowled before yielding.
“I will go to the funeral of Laena Velaryon as the representative of House Royce.” Lysa sighed once, before smiling and tugging the boy forward to kiss the crown of his head– much like she had done just moments prior with her own son

So this is a series about Kai, mostly from his perspective, because I was thinking about it and, taking his recklessness, his having raised Nya all on his own from such a young age, and his shitty coping mechanisms into consideration, it seems to me that he is extremely self-destructive, even self-hateful despite the 'cocky' show he puts up, and this is basically looking deeper into that, into what might be going on in his head and behind the scenes and things like that.
Jump on in if this sounds good to you!(and even if it doesn't, just read the damn thing anyway-) the water's great!(and depressing :D)
If you have any requests for particular scenes from this show, you might wanna suggest them because I do not remember enough about this show at all, I just really felt like writing this. Only things about Kai tho, it doesn't necessarily have to be from his POV but it has to be mostly related to him since he's the focus of this.

Upon stepping into the role of Mecha Man Blue, Robert runs himself into the ground physically, mentally, and financially to uphold his family’s legacy. It’s what he was born and raised for, after all. He can’t afford to fuck it up. He’s nothing outside of it. His dad was so keen on drilling that into his head.
…with that kind of pressure on him, is it any wonder he starts to act out? It really shouldn’t be surprising that he needs to let off some steam, some charge, so he doesn’t lose his cool doing real hero work. Call him a hypocrite. Call him a supervillain in a hero’s suit. Robert’s long since past the point of caring.
It’s just a shame he’s working so closely with people who know the hallmarks of a real villain a lot better than he would like them to. He’ll have to keep his work and his fun separate, for the team’s sake if nothing else. They mean a lot to him. He genuinely wants to help them succeed in their redemption arcs.
But he has no intention of stopping. Not when he’s finally back in his prime.
