A lump forms in Franky’s throat watching this, and a memory comes to him- Iceburg boiling from fever, still heaving metal and wood and clenching his teeth. Himself watching, incredulous, shouts not enough to bring the stubborn guy down for the rest he needs. Tom, smiling as ever, walking up and putting a hand on Iceburg’s shoulder, words easy and sure, presenting a compromise that eventually led him to falling asleep at the fish-man’s side.
Franky always did want to be the sort of man Tom was. It’s worth a shot.

It’s easy, we just have to keep telling Usopp how awesome he is!” Luffy exclaims. “He’s always sayin’ nice stuff about us, so we’ve just gotta return the favour. If we tell him how great he is all the time he’ll have to believe us and he won’t be sad anymore!”
After seeing how Usopp was unaffected by Perona's negative ghosts on Thriller Bark, the other Straw Hats are worried about their sniper's mental health. Luffy insists that Usopp doesn't need to be fixed or changed, but just requires the occasional reminder of how talented and valued he is. The crew is more than happy to oblige.

After a moment, it seemed like Luffy suddenly understood something, and his expression changed to a mix of knowing and curiosity. "Usopp, what are you not telling us?"
Usopp shifted his gaze from the ship to Luffy. "What do you mean?"
"You're hiding something from us."
"There's nothing to tell." Luffy, please drop it, Usopp thought. This isn't like you.
But Luffy approached Usopp slowly, with his determined gaze that always meant he was ready to defend his Nakama, even if the threat was coming from within.
Whether it was on the battlefield or the deck of the Thousand Sunny, Luffy was not one to easily let go of something, especially when a friend's well-being was at risk.
On the other hand, Merry reappearing in Usopp's life once again complicated things for him.

This is horrible and I think I have an addiction writing desirable Usopp, and inappropriate Sanji. I hate myself.
After the two year separation, something snapped inside Sanji. He fixated on Usopp.
Usopp has matured and grown into his looks. Usopp doesn't know how to handle the flirtations of strangers, luckily Sanji swoops in to protect him.
To bad nobody swooped in to save Usopp from Sanji.
Before he knows it, he's dressed like a woman and Sanji is groping, kissing, and declaring, "Je t'aime, ma cocotte."
Sanji is going to craft his perfect mademoiselle. Weather Usopp wants to be his perfect secret girlfriend or not.
Luffy appears briefly, but unfortunately he just doesn't catch on to the sniper's plight.
Warning for googled French phrases.
No actual rape, but I feel like it's implied there will be coerced sex in the future.-

Minutes after departing from Punk Hazard, a dragon attacks the ship and retreats with Usopp, Robin, Zoro and Sanji stuck to its icy scales. Dragged by the creature to a frozen wasteland, the four can do nothing but stay wary of the bounty hunters running amok. Last but not least, the crushes that Usopp thought were gone for good are about to prove him wrong.
He doesn’t see how it can get worse than this.

Summary
Banchina was in the ground, the villagers charity ran out, and the village Elders were fed up with the loud, liar, pirate's brat. He was barely eight years old and he stole a loaf of bread to feed himself.
A suspicious ship docked in Syrup Village's tiny port and happened to be looking to 'hire' a cabin boy. So he got sold to slavers and not one adult batted an eye at that.
Usopp isn't pretty like some of the other children so he gets the crusts of ship's biscuits on good days. He learns the meaning of being quiet, and useful to avoid cruelty only to learn new meanings to cruelty.
One day much later they sailed to the arctic north blue. A metal fish attacked the ship and Usopp's fortunes change.
