In the 18 months between the Upside Down cracking Hawkins in two and their disastrous Crawl, Will starts drawing again. It’s a familiar feeling, sitting in the basement with some paper and a box of crayons, an ever-curious Wheeler looking over his shoulder.
Except, it’s not Mike. No, Mike hasn’t been talking to him unless completely necessary, which sucks, but Will’s gotten used to it. No, it’s little Holly, just as sweet as Will remembers and totally captivated with his art.
It’s refreshing, at least, to have someone look at him with stars in their eyes for once. He just hopes Mike doesn’t find out; it’ll give him another thing to be weird about.
TLDR: Five times Will teaches Holly how to draw, and one time it’s Mike who takes his lessons to heart.

No aches. Because he hadn’t been beaten six ways from Sunday yet. His parents in Italy, because they went during his summer holidays in 1983.
The horrible thing about this was that he could believe it. Once he accepted portals to alternate dimension, gruesomely violent monsters from said dimensions, superpowered teenagers and state conspiracies to match it all, time travel wasn’t that difficult to believe in.

Koala laughs, and Sabo lets loose with his own laugh. She gets off of him and when they’re both standing the two start off the group hug.Or: Sabo's surprise reunion for Koala turns into an equally surprising reunion for himself when they visit the Moby Dick for the occasion.

"You- what?" he coughs.
"You heard me," Max says, shoulders squared despite her pink cheeks. They darken from pink to full red as she continues. "Also, the way you two kept looking at each other was hot," she says.

“What?” she echoes. “It’s only fair. You saw me and Mike get off, now I want to see you guys get off together.”or;

The bottle begins to slow, and manages to point at every member of the party slowly before finally coming to a stop at-
“Will!” Dustin crows. “Will kissing a girl!”
“Shut up, Dustin, it's not like I'm allergic to them.” Will says, with no real heat. He swirls his wine glass, takes another sip, and then makes eye contact with Max, who is looking right at him with a glint in her eye. Right now, Will knows that they’re thinking exactly the same thing; This is an opportunity for fuckery that they simply cannot pass up.
Max crosses the circle and rather than kneeling down in front of him and leaning in, like all the other rounds that have been played, she throws one leg either side of him and straddles his lap. One of her hands slides up into Will’s hair, their faces hover, inches apart, for a few moments - before he grabs Max by the waist and kisses her full on the mouth.-
or: the Party get a little wine drunk, and play spin the bottle like every good teenage cliche. When the bottle finally lands on Will and Max, they can't resist the urge to fuck with their friends.

“Huh?” Will asked, before registering the question. “Oh yeah, it’s fine,” he said, only now realizing that the movie had started. It was Back To The Future.
They watched the first act in comfortable silence. Will wasn’t really paying attention to the movie, though. That sweet smell had permeated the air. He felt drunk on it.
And Mike, who had started the movie sitting and appropriate distance away from Will, had gradually crept into his space, until their thighs and shoulders were touching. Don’t read into it. Don’t read into it. Will recited in his head, like a mantra. Still, the places where they touched burned.

And then, to Mike’s absolute mortification, his younger-self flushes, cheeks growing impossibly red and eyes darting to the floor. Not in an obvious manner either, because Will immediately levels Mike with a questioning stare and a teasing smile which makes him want to crawl into a hole and die.

Steve thought he should say goodbye to Robin, or maybe a thank you would be more apt, but there wasn’t time. The Demodogs were still hot on their tail; if they stopped now, they’d be eaten alive. There was less than half a meter to the gate when Robin’s hand found the back of Steve’s head, a second later her lips were meeting his forehead. When she pulled back, her face was a mess of blood, tears, sweat, and the widest smile he had seen in months. Steve pulled her into his arms, whispering the only thing he could think of at that moment. They tumbled through the gate to their presumed death wrapped in each other's arms. Robin’s response left forever unsaid.

A rewrite of S3:
The night Dustin gets back from Camp Knowhere, he brings the Party up to the highest point in Hawkins to set up Cerebro. He thought that his friends would be excited to have him back-- even if it wasn't the most entertaining to sit on a hill and talk into a radio with no response, he thought they would at least wait for him before going home. He thought it was going to be the best summer ever.
Instead, he finds himself and the one friend that didn't leave him, Will Byers, intercepting a weird Russian transmission.
And, well... if he couldn't have the best summer ever, at least he and Will would have an eventful one.
